We've Been Busy (Caution: Picture Overload)

Well holy smokes, it has been way too long since I have updated the blog. It is time for a serious catch up. ;)

To start off, our lives have been consumed by these lovely pieces of rubber.

Tires, tires, and more tires. Oh yes, and wheels. Lots and lots of wheels.

Jordan has been crazy busy with work. The busiest time of the year for tire sales is coming up within the next few weeks. That means Hadley and I will see less and less of Jordan's beautiful and trim face ( have I mentioned he recently lost 40 pounds....yahoo!)

It stinks that he works late into the night, but I am so grateful that he has a very successful business. He takes great care of our family! I am also very grateful for all of his customers. I think Jordan has the best customers in town. Wholesale Direct Tire and Wheel has been one of the greatest blessings in mine and Jordan's life.

....MOVING ON.....

Well folks, after a million and a half years at BYU Idaho, I finally graduated!!!! I graduated back in December and I will finish my student teaching this week. I am so grateful I stuck school out and got my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education.

To celebrate my graduation and the success of Jordan's business, Jordan and I are going to Disney World for a week! Hadley will be going to Grandma LaLa's house in Utah while Jordan and I take off on our much needed vacation. We are going to miss Hadley so much, but we are overjoyed that we get to go on a REAL vacation! And, we are so grateful that my mom is willing to watch Hadley for six whole days (you're the best mom!).

.....SPEAKING OF LITTLE MISS HADLEY....

Our sassy little girl is turning 2 tomorrow! I don't know where time has gone, because it seems like it was just yesterday that she was born.

Hadley was born on April 25, 2011 during an April snow storm. From the moment Hadley took her first breath she has been adorable, stubborn, full of personality, and has the ability to put a smile on anyone's face. We have had so much fun watching Little Miss grow up over the past two years.

We are so blessed to have Hadley as our daughter. She is such a special girl and we love her more than words can describe.

For Hadley's birthday, she is getting a stay-at-home mom (me)! It will be the first time in her life that I will be able to stay home all-day everyday. Hadley and I are overly excited about her present this year.

Thank you for being to best two year old around Hadley! Keep on smiling and being the precious little girl that you are.

And last but not least, congratulations are in order. My oldest sister Barbara Jo gave birth to her fifth baby this week! Welcome to the family Brody Garrett Hatch. I can't wait to meet and snuggle you.

(By the way, doesn't my sister look absolutely gorgeous right after giving birth!?! Talk about totally unfair!)

Well, I think that does it for me. I am off to bed. Hopefully I will be better at this blogging thing since I am out of school.

Hadley's OOTD (Outfit Of The Day)

I believe that anyone can dress their kid in cute clothes without breaking the bank. So I have decided that from time to time I will post Hadley's outfit of the day with the info on where I got it and for how much. (Plus it will be a good way for me to document my sweet baby growing up). I love baby clothes. I love picking out Hadley's outfit everyday, and I wish I had her wardrobe.

Today Hadley sported leopard skinny jeans with a bright pink sweater vest. Please excuse the bad lighting and iphone pics. Oh and by the way it is near impossible to photograph a busy toddler.

Leopard Skinny Jeans: Old Navy. I paid $12 (buy here)
Black Cap Sleeve: Downeast. I paid $7 (buy here)
Bright Pink Sweater Vest: Downeast. I paid $6 (buy here)
Black Bow Flats: Target. I paid $12 (no longer available in stores or online)

Just Thinking

I have so much on my mind, so  I figured the best way to let it all out is to jot it down.

*I graduate in 1 week. I am thrilled yet nervous because I dont know how I am going to make it through the next week. I have so many tests, assignments, and projects.

*My master bathroom stinks. Like really bad. We think the smell is coming from the toilet. We have tried baking soda and vinegar, drain-o, and every cleaning product out there. Nothing. It still smells. Should I call a plumber?

*My dryer is about to die. I have to run it three times to dry a load of laundry. I guess I could ask for a new dryer for Christmas, but who wants to ask for a dryer for Christmas? NOT ME!

*I looked at the resolutions I set at the beginning of the year. My number one goal was to lose 20 pounds. I am thrilled to say that I have lost 50 lbs since January....but I have gained 7 lbs just this past week. I am thinking it is due to stress and poor eating because I dont have time to cook.

*Once this semester ends I am going to organize my house. It has to happen.

*I am constantly wondering when we should have our next baby. Some days I feel ready to be a mom of two and other days I cant even handle the one.

*Lately I have been feeling overwhelmed when it comes to parenting. But then I think of my amazing mother who basically raised six kids on her own.

*Jordan and I have so much anxiety about paying our taxes this year. It will be our first year with his business and we hope and pray we are prepared for the jumbo tax bill we will get.

*I really want a cleaning lady. How much are they? For like one day a week?

*Jordan and I are trying really hard to get involved in our new ward. We love it. We love the people in our ward and all the fun stuff we do with them. Jordan's dad has always told us that whatever we put into our ward we will get out of our ward. So true.

*I want a piano. Whenever I go home to Utah I sit down and play my mom's piano and it calms me down. I need a piano in my own house.

*I passed my Praxis tests. The Praxis tests are the tests you have to take to be a certified teacher. They cost a bajillion dollars to take and they are super hard. I am so grateful I passed on my first try.

*I am grateful I have stuck it out and I am graduating with my degree. It took me six years to get it, but I did it. Even though I will not be teaching (at least for now) I will use my degree everyday at home with my kids. I dont know what I would do without the knowledge I gained at BYUI.

*I am trying to be a typical suburban housewife. I made neighborhood Christmas presents this year (still have to deliver them) and I sent out Christmas cards. I feel grown up.

*I want to go on a vacation. I am thinking Disneyworld. Who would like to fund this vacation for me? Any takers?? :)

*I am so grateful for Jordan's business. It puts food on our table and keeps us in a warm house.

*I listened to this song yesterday for the first time, and I cried. I dont know why, but I cried like a baby.

*I discovered the website retailmenot.com, can we say amaze-balls! It gives you coupon codes to every store.

*I now feel guilty for blogging. I have a crying baby running around the house, dishes piled high, a stack of mail to go through, and 11 voice mails I need to return. I need more hours in the day.

Hope you all have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

here are some recent pics...
We let Hadley open her big Christmas present early. She loves it.

Grandma with Lincoln and Hadley over Thanksgiving.

Hadley at the pumpkin patch.

I asked Jordan for Christams lights on the house. He gave me red and green light bulbs.

FAMILY PICTURES 2012

A few weeks ago we got our family pictures taken by the amazing Josh Petersen. I love all of them and I think he did a spectacular job

I still have to pick one for our Christmas card this year...it is going to be a tough choice.

PS: Did you guys hear that Jef and Emily (from the bachelor) broke up!?! I am slightly heartbroken and in disbelief.
